PRISM

Panel Recognition & Image Segmentation Metadata

One page in. A whole world out.

Like light through a prism, art that passes through PRISM splits into its full spectrum of story information — panels, characters, dialogue, scenes, relationships — each band typed and sourced. Comic books, single pages, standalone images, and AI generations alike become worlds that stay accurate, continuous, and coherent, no matter how complex they grow.

A page becomes a graph — panels, people, dialogue, and the relationships between them.

IThe spectrum

Every source splits into its bands, each a deeper reading than the last.

01

SHARD

Pages burst apart; every panel found, cut, and sequenced in reading order.

02

SEGMENT

Characters and objects lifted from the art — pixel-precise, one click.

03

TRANSCRIBE

Every balloon read; every line attributed to the character who speaks it.

04

ANALYZE

Structured appearance and scene facts, field by field — reviewed, not assumed.

05

RELATE

Typed relationships between entities, in the same vocabulary your storyverse speaks.

IIThe structure

Not a pile of images — a connected world.

What PRISM extracts isn’t captions. It’s a graph: characters, objects, places, and scenes as typed entities, with explicit typed relationships running between them — wields, knows, located at — the same closed vocabulary the rest of your storyverse uses.

Every fact keeps its receipt. A character’s description points to the panels it was read from; a line of dialogue knows who spoke it and where. When visual analysis meets your written canon, they meet as equals — same types, same names, different evidence.

IIIThe workbench

Desktop-grade tools, in the browser.

Six workspaces, one pipeline. Everything the machine proposes is yours to refine — with the same masks, panels, and reading order the models see.

LIBRARY

Projects, comics, and images — organized, previewed, exported whole.

SHARDER

Panel detection you can tune, correct, and draw by hand.

CANVAS

Segment, tag, and analyze the people and things inside every panel.

TRANSCRIBER

Dialogue, captions, and effects — segmented, read, approved.

REGENARRATE

Scene prose composed from what the pipeline learned; clean plates from what it removed.

CATALOG

Everything the system knows, searchable across the whole world.

IVPrinciples

YOUR ART STAYS YOURS

Analysis runs on models we host inside your project boundary. Pages are never sent to third parties, never used for training, never retained anywhere you can't see.

EVIDENCE, NOT VIBES

Every extracted fact carries provenance — the exact panel it came from. Nothing enters your storyverse without a source you can click.

HUMANS APPROVE

The machine proposes; you dispose. Every transcription, tag, and analysis field passes through review before it becomes canon.

ONE VOCABULARY

PRISM speaks the same typed ontology as the rest of the AOHK toolchain — what it reads from pixels fuses with what your team writes in prose.

Bring a book. Leave with a world.
